We have a new site!

So let me explain who I am and what I do. My name is Courtney Hay, and I work with dogs every single day. I work at one of the largest dog boarding facilities in my area, as well as K9 Kare which is also owned by one of the founders of Camp Cypress Dog Retreat. K9 Kare is a pet health and wellness company and they sell CBD pet products and have a blog as well. I do not write for their blog but I do write content that is shared in their facebook page. I write about current pet products after I have tried them and I generally enjoy writing about anything related to dog health. I also have a new page for my featured dog of the week, each week I will go through all of the submitions and select one lucky pooch as feature on The Congitive Dog sit, the K9 Kare facebook page and the K9 Kare Club group!

I am married and have a two year old little boy whose about to turn three, he is really the whole reason I have come to realize that I enjoy working with animals. When he was born I put myself through school as a Vet Tech and then focused on training dogs. This is where I found that animals are incredibly smart creatures and they do not get the credit deserved for it. Dogs have a cognitive equivalence to that of a toddler. Amazing right? I am currently doing research on this topic and will soon be publishing a page specifically for my findings. I am super excited to have the opportunity to share this fascinating topic with everyone.
